      The article examines which book category had successful sales in 2009 and discusses the prognosis for the book industry in 2010. The book market is described to be divided into four major genres which include adult fiction and children's book, among others. Trade for non-fiction works is noted to have descended due to the increasing availability of such works for free through the Internet. Themes of horror and ghost stories have topped the rankings for the adult fiction sub-genre.
