      The article reports on the financial performance of publishers in Great Britain in the first half of 2011. Penguin's sales increased by 11 percent from 66 million British pounds to 73 million British pounds during the period. Simon & Schuster also reported a sales increase of 11 percent to 12.6 million British pounds. It also reports on the solid performance of Bloomsbury despite having no titles in the top 50 bestsellers. The top 20 publishers in the country include Hachette, Random House and HarperCollins.
