- Abstract: An essay is presented which offers poetry criticism of poems including "Ave Maria" and "Poem" both by Frank O'Hara, and "One Train May Hide Another" by Kenneth Koch in light of the novella "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad. The notion of the accessibility of literature is addressed in relation to rhetorical simplicity.
