The article presents the journey of people who enjoyed skis and skiing during dry, sunny days and crisp, and cold nights of central Oregon's Cascade Mountains. It informs that these people crested a ridge and could finally go fast, on an immense, gently sloping plateau that climbed to the Tarn McArthur Rim near Three Sisters.
