    • Abstract:
ARE Regular John (above) the best new Sydney rock band since Wolfmother? Quite possibly. Their powerful rock sound harks back to the glory days of the Sydney rock scene in the 1980s. And that's not a coincidence; when the band moved to Sydney from Griffith, they moved into a Marrickville house opposite Celibate Rifles bassist Michael Couvret, who left a pile of his old music gear out the front of his house and unwittingly passed on the legacy when his new neighbours helped themselves.
