      This study described the subjective well-being (SWB) experiences of Taiwanese undergraduate students. Thirty senior students from three different styles of universities participated in this study. Their ages ranged from 20 to 25 years old with an average of 21.65. A phenomenological methodology with in-depth interviews was employed. Five themes were emerged from the content description of students' SWB experiences: self-understanding and growth, academic learning and professional growth, interpersonal relationship, realizing life goals and belief, and interaction with the environment. Students maintained congruence between aspects of the self, and between the developing individual and the environment. They gradually developed a lifestyle that was in line with their characteristics, interests, and needs. Subsequently, they acknowledged their own abilities and gained a sense of fulfillment in life.
