      The article discusses that understanding of the adolescent brain that could lead to improvements in education and mental health. It states that the young brain shows a rapid growth and neuronal fine-tuning and sensitive to social cues and rewards as it interacts with the social environment. The adolescence is sensitive period for social and emotional learning and doing things differently may lead to negative experiences such as smoking or drug use.
