An editorial is presented in which the authors discuss support efforts for HIV-positive individuals who inject drugs during the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S. and St. Petersburg, Russia. It examines the various challenges for people who inject drugs (PWID) with HIV, the reduction of impediments to care, and social stigma against PWID.
