      The Hudson Bill H. R. 13686 was introduced in the U.S. House on May 11, 1928, and was referred to the Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce. The title of the bill declares that it is a bill to protect the motion picture industry against unfair trade practices and monopoly, to provide just settlement of complaints of unfair dealings, to provide for the manufacture of wholesome motion pictures at the sources of production, to create a Federal Motion Picture Commission, to define its powers, and for proper distribution and exhibition of non-theatrical as well as theatrical films.
