    • Abstract:
The article discusses climate change as of June 2016. Topics covered include the projected flooding of the world's coast lines by century's end due to loss of polar ice resulting from a more than 2-degree-Celsius temperature rise, the incapability of the ice to reemerge in thousands of years, and the task to remove negative carbon emissions from the air and safely neutralize it. Also noted are the forest's role in capturing carbon dioxide, and the possible use of algae to generate bio fuels.
