      The article presents information on the first amendment protection of Encryption Source Code. The U.S. Courts applied the so-called "idea/expression dichotomy" for limiting the expansion of copyright from crossing into the province of the First Amendment. It states that viewing computer source code as an artifact of the public domain reinforces that the U.S. government grant copyrights in works to motivate significantly the creative activity of author.
