      The article focuses on the collaboration of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) International with the Genomics Institute with the Novartis AG Research Foundation (GNF) for regeneration drugs in the U.S. The research program has been designed to develop potential regeneration drugs to be tested in human clinical trials. Considered as JDRF's largest collaboration, the move is undertaken to power scientific evidences that insulin-producing beta cells have the ability to regenerate.
