      In the article, the author discusses the importance of celebrating African American history everyday to expand the study of African American history in the library and classroom beyond the African American History Month celebrations. Also cited are his efforts to promote African American history stories that need to be taught to school children, and the need to include African American history into the U.S. school curricula to benefit all students.
