"First Do No Harm": Effective Communication About COVID-19 Vaccines.

The article describes how effective communication about the COVID-19 vaccine may be facilitated. Particular focus is given to how physicians and public health professionals can address the spread of misinformation on social media. Other topics discussed include how vaccine-hesitant individuals are often disparagingly called "anti-vaxxers" by other social media users, the removal of false claims about COVID-19 vaccines on social media and how that may backfire, and how to differentiate between blatantly false content and legitimate scientific uncertainty.
