      The article focuses on the life and works of Dennis Ashbaugh, one of the famous contemporary artists in Spain. Ashbaugh is among the contemporary artists to unify genetic imagery into his work. Most of his large-scale paintings are based on abstract art and imaging technology. Most of his interest varies in technology advancement which translate into a visible pattern to reveal the lower appearances. He also received several awards including the Guggenheim Fellowship recipient. The Institute of Modern Art in Valencia pays tribute to his works by organizing an exhibit of his paintings held at the National Academy Sciences.
