The article discusses the lessons of pre-production in television-produced media in the U.S. Pre-production is described as the most challenging and exciting area of a production program. Teachers are encouraged to teach each student their key role to be perform during pre-production. Furthermore, the appreciation of the role play during the production of the project is considered as the fundamental lesson of pre-production.
