An interview with planetary scientist Lindy Elkins-Tantor is presented concerning the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) planned mission to the asteroid 16 Psyche. When asked why NASA is sending a probe to 16 Psyche she said it is believed the asteroid is the exposed planetary core of a tiny planet. She mentions that 16 Psyche reflects back most radar signals and has a much higher thermal inertia than any other asteroids.
