      The article analyzes scientific definition of death and whether it could be reversed. Topics discussed include definition of death as per the Uniform Determination of Death Act in 1981, cardiopulmonary cessation as the prime reason for vast majority of deaths, research conducted by physicians and scientists at the Yale School of Medicine to revive dead brains of pigs and issues related to reviving the brain rhythms characteristic of the living brain in human beings.
