    • Abstract:
The article examines the lost treatise written by philosopher Aristotle as the second part of his book "Poetics," wherein he discussed his philosophy of laughter. It tackles Aristotle's description of comedy and laughter in the first book, the discovery of a manuscript in the Bibliothèque nationale de France similar to the summary of the missing text, an increase in interest among scholars in the treatise, and the issue on the definition of pleasure thrown by Aristotle's philosophy.
