      The article calls upon Catholics to live a consecrated way of life or renewed religious life through discipleship and charism. It discusses the graces and challenges in the face of consecrated life including vocations, increased racial and ethnic diversity, desire for community, contentment, changing demographics, aging population, accommodation of international members, and wider culture. The importance of prayer and nurturing relationships to building a culture of vocations is explained.
