      The article focuses on States of Change, a joint study by the Center for American Progress, the Democracy Fund, the Brookings Institution and the Bipartisan Policy Center which reveals that political differences between Americans of different backgrounds are hardening. Robert Griffin, co-author of report, states that 2016 election was the most demographically divisive election in the history of American politics. the study states that voters are getting less white, younger and more educated.
