      The article discusses a study which examined the effect of the demographic characteristics of workers on their probabilities of leaving the labor force or changing occupations. The study analyzed data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. It identified age and educational attainment as two factors that have the greatest impact on occupational separations.
