      In the theoretical framework in which historiographical discourse is defined as a narrative construct and therefore, essentially ideological, the problem of writing the Crónica de tres reyes (a mid-14th century Castilian text attributed to Sánchez de Valladolid) is approached from a perspective that seeks to investigate ideological suppositions that may have influenced the design of a discourse different from that of previous royal and noble chronicles. Likewise, the issue concerning the marginal notes present in the handwritten tradition is approached as inscriptions of tension with regard to the authoritative narrative voice of the chronicler’s text.       En el marco teórico en el cual se define el discurso historiográfico como una construcción narrativa y, por consiguiente, ideológica, se aborda el problema de la redacción de la Crónica de tres reyes (texto castellano de mediados del siglo XIV atribuido a Sánchez de Valladolid) desde una perspectiva que busca indagar en los presupuestos ideológicos que habrían influido en el diseño de un discurso diferenciado de sus antecedentes cronísticos regios y nobiliarios. Al mismo tiempo, se trabaja la problemática de las glosas marginales presentes en la tradición manuscrita en tanto inscripciones de una tensión respecto de la voz narradora autorizada del texto cronístico.
