    • Abstract:
The main aim of this paper is to examine the work of the Galician anarchist, communist, socialist and nationalist groups in the Republican camp during the Spanish Civil War. It will focus on the attempt by these Galician Republicans, through their respective propagandistic organs such as the anarchist Galicia Libre, the communist Nueva Galicia and the Galician nationalist Nova Galiza, to disassociate themselves from the typecast image of fascist aggressors. It will also examine the divisions within these groups for hegemony among Galician exiles in the Republican camp. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
