    • Abstract:
The main purpose of this article is to read the book of Job in such a way that both its prologue and epilogue are honestly taken into account. According to the author, the contribution of Job to theology and praxis is often in conflict with the original intention of the book. Following Vanhoozer's distinction between thin and thick descriptions, the author calls into question selective or arbitrary types of reading that are unable to synchronize the content of the book with its introduction and conclusion. The proposed solution is a type of reading that is both sensitive and mindful of levels of conclusiveness of the narrative. The challenge created by such uncomfortable solution is to concentrate only on those questions that were originally meant to be responded, which means that we, the readers, are not entitled to all the answers all the time. • Abstract:
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
