      The Internet has revolutionized the way in which journalists work in the newsroom. The new situation, rooted in the incorporation of new technologies in various areas of the journalistic industry, has implied a metamorphosis of traditional characteristics and the emergence of new professional figures. This article reflects on aspects related to the impact of the Internet on the work of digital journalists in Peru. To this end, we present the results of the survey "The Internet and the Peruvian journalist", carried out in major national and some regional newspapers, which reveal the perceptions, concerns, and motivations of the journalists that publish in digital newspapers.       Internet ha revolucionado la forma de trabajar de los periodistas en las redacciones de los diarios. La nueva situación, derivada de la incorporación de las nuevas tecnologías en varios ámbitos de la industria periodística, ha supuesto una metamorfosis de los perfiles tradicionales y la aparición de nuevas figuras profesionales. Este artículo reflexiona sobre los aspectos relacionados con el impacto de internet en el trabajo de los periodistas digitales en Perú. Para esto, se presentan los resultados de la encuesta "Internet y periodista peruano", realizada en los principales periódicos nacionales y algunos regionales, que descubren las percepciones, inquietudes y motivaciones de los informadores que publican en los diarios digitales.
