This paper aims to reassess the role of embodiment in the construction of ethnographic knowledge. To this end, it illustrates the impact that the researcher's performance of diverse Sai Baba rituals had on his understanding of Argentinian Sai Baba groups. The article also reflects on the role attributed to the different senses in this production as well as their epistemological Implications, and establishes a dialogue between different philosophies of thought on the issue. El presente trabajo pretende revalorizar el rol de la corporalidad en la construcción del conocimiento etnográfico. Con este fin, ilustra la Incidencia que tuvo en la comprensión de los grupos Sal Baba argentinos la realización, por parte del investigador, de diversos rituales del grupo. Asimismo, el artículo reflexiona sobre el papel atribuido a los diferentes sentidos en dicha producción, sus implicancias epistemológicas, y pone a dialogar diferentes filosofías de pensamiento sobre la cuestión.
