“The Many Faces of Home” by Holly Blanchard

Saul Alexander Gallery at Main Library- Come check out May's gallery artist, Holly Blanchard for her exhibition "The Many Faces of Home". Holly Blanchard worked for forty-one years in public health as a certified nurse midwife, fifteen years in the international arena. She retired to Charleston from Jakarta, Indonesia. At the College of Charleston, she had the opportunity to explore studio art (drawing and painting), an interest she’s had since her youth. She realized that she loved working with oils, the time to reflect on the tone, color, shadows and texture. Her first exhibition at the Saul Alexander Gallery, titled “The Many faces of Home”, she presents some of the places that she has called home including Charleston.
