AARP Free Income Tax Preparation

Mt. Pleasant Regional Library - Receive free income tax preparation and electronic filing assistance from American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) volunteers through April 12. A current picture ID and Social Security card are required, along with the Social Security cards of any dependents. Assistance will be provided first come, first served, with priority given to seniors. The last person will be accepted at 4 p.m.

Area residents can receive free help with their taxes at several CCPL branches through a project coordinated with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, S.C. Thrive and the AARP.
