Charlie Cart: Cooking Healthy

West Ashley Library - Learn how to cook simple, healthy food in the Charlie Cart! What's a Charlie Cart? Good question! The Charlie Cart is a mobile kitchen classroom that delivers hands-on nutrition education.

This program is made possible through a partnership with the Lowcountry Food Bank through its Nutrition Initiatives. The Lowcountry Food Bank is a 501(c)3 non-profit that distributes donated food to a network of nearly 300 member agencies throughout 10 coastal counties in South Carolina, including soup kitchens, homeless shelters and emergency food pantries. 

*A liability waiver must be signed to participate, and caregivers must sign for participants under the age of 18. All supplies are provided.
