Wando Mount Pleasant Library - The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) is working to raise awareness in the Charleston community of the work underway and learn what our community’s priorities are for improving our local justice system -- we are currently gathering community feedback to develop our next strategic plan in 2020. The Roundtable dialogues are being helding throughout Charleston County, including Charleston County Public Library, during the month of September. Community members will meet weekly to have in-depth conversations about safety, justice and community well-being. Each group will be led by a locally trained facilitator and include 10-15 participants. Feedback and key themes identified throughout these roundtables dialogue sessions will ultimately be used to inform the CJCC’s updated 2020 strategic plan.

About CJCC: The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, is a collaboration of leaders connected to the local justice system who work together to make data-driven improvements to increase public safety and community well-being here in Charleston County. There are many different pieces and players involved in the local justice system (judges, law enforcement, victim advocates, etc.)- the CJCC serves as a data hub to get these different groups to talk to each other, share their data, and work together to make data-guided improvements. Join the CJCC roundtable dialogue series! Sign up here
