Join featured February artist Dayton Bryan Stone III for an opening reception of his exhibit, "The Nature of Charleston". He is an artist that works almost exclusively in black and white media and specializes in natural science and biological illustration. He has studied natural science illustration through George Washington University at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. He's worked for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources for twenty-seven years in marine science while doing natural science illustration and photography on the side. He has been juried in and participated in Spoleto, SEWE, the Charleston Art Guild Gallery as well as other smaller venues.

“The Nature of Charleston” is a show that encompasses the beauty of local Charleston wildlife and nature using pen and ink as well as pencil and carbon dust.
