Bees Ferry West Ashley Library - During this week-long series (in-person*), teens in grades 6 - 12 will learn the basics of journalism from women in the field in order to gain insight into the ways that reporting can transform lives and drive change. They will explore journalism as a career choice, hear about different roles, and learn about unique challenges facing women in the profession. The sessions are from 3-4 p.m. Oct. 4-8 and last about one hour, when participants will hear from females working in the local journalism industry including television news and newspaper/digital journalism.
