Hurd/St. Andrews Regional Library - Interested members of the community are asked to join us in a safe space to converse with individuals who have a substance use disorder and are active in recovery. This event will promote a healthy dialogue on substance use disorders, treatment and recovery. Please join us to combat the stigma of this disease of addiction by engaging in open, honest and respectful dialogues.

Meet Caitlin Kratz, the Program Administrator for Charleston Center’s Opioid Treatment Program. Caitlin's experience in the field of addiction treatment includes crisis management and residential treatment for women, families and adolescents. She was named South Carolina’s Counselor of the Year in 2017, and she specializes in working with pregnant women who suffer from an opioid use disorder. She has a passion for community outreach to help break down barriers and stigma surrounding addiction treatment and to include medication-assisted treatment. She will be joined by members of the recovery community as they share stories of strength, hope and recovery during a panel discussion. This event is co-sponsored by Charleston Center.
