Charleston's first poet laureate, Marcus Amaker, will read from his tenth book, Hold What Makes You Whole. After reading, Marcus will lead a free writing workshop for anyone looking to unravel their creative writing skills. Joining Marcus during the reading will be local poet Linda Joy Walder, whose book Running Naked in the Snow was released by Marcus' publishing company, Free Verse Press.
