“Mornings” by Barbara Montgomery
Inspired by writers and painters of the Romantic, Barbara Montgomery’s oil paintings transform the sequential essence of time into a prolonged moment of tranquility. Through the use of a warmly muted color palette and dense paint application, Montgomery’s landscape paintings have a hazy, yet stable character that embodies the heavy stillness of the passage of time.
