McClellanville Library - On January 28, 1963 a young black man from Charleston names, Harvy Gantt enrolled at Clemson College, making him the first African- American to be accepted to a white school in South Carolina. This 27 minute long documentary features interviews, archival footage, and historic civil rights photos by Cecil Williams to tell this pivotal, yet largely forgotten story of desegregation.
