A Lowcountry native, Leah Crosby operates a consulting firm that provides professional development for K-12 teachers. She has served as a Parent Teacher Organization officer at Charleston Charter School for Math and Science and the Charleston County School of the Arts Middle School Band Booster Board. Crosby is an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, where she has served on the church vestry and numerous other church committees.
She was appointed to the CCPL Board of Trustees in 2017.
Crosby received a bachelor's degree in American Studies and Philosophy from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, G.A., and a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, S.C. In her free time, she enjoys numerous outdoor activities, reading, listening to audio books and music, and learning about website design.
