Biography :

Nicholas Page is an aerospace design engineer currently working in new product development, with past experiences in production, propulsion, aerodynamics, and disruptive strategy. He has performed and published research in morphing aerodynamic structures and has one patent filed.

He received his Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science degrees, both in Aerospace Engineering, from Texas A&M University in 2016. There, he was extremely active in student life, including the University Libraries, where he helped to establish an awards program encouraging Open Educational Resource (OER) utilization across campus.

Originally from Tampa, Florida, Nicholas recently returned to Ladson after a year in Missouri. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the city, meeting new people, and outdoor activities. He is a strong advocate of open access to education for all ages, and promotes the libraries as a key enabler of this. He was appointed to the CCPL Board of Trustees in October of 2019.
