A Lowcountry native, Leah Crosby is Program Office Manager of Charleston County First Steps. Previously, she operated a consulting firm that provided professional development for K-12 educators, Educational Resources Group, Inc, and provided therapeutic services as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Crosby is an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, where she has served on the church vestry and numerous other church committees. She was appointed to the CCPL Board of Trustees in 2017. Crosby received a bachelor's degree in American Studies and Philosophy from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, G.A., and a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, S.C. In her free time, she enjoys numerous outdoor activities, reading, listening to audio books and music, and exploring website and graphic design.
