It’s time to get your costumes, wands and Butterbeer tankards at the ready, because Charleston County Public Library is celebrating Harry Potter Book Night – the one night of the year completely devoted to the Harry Potter books.

Harry Potter Film Festival (teens)
Monday, Jan. 29-Friday, Feb. 2 at 3:30 p.m.

Watch Harry Potter movies after school to get into the spirit for Hogwarts After Dark.

Jan. 29: “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” Rated PG and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” Rated PG
Jan. 30: “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” Rated PG and “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” Rated PG-13
Jan. 31: “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” Rated PG-13
Feb. 1: “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” Rated PG
Feb. 2: “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1” Rated PG-13

Harry Potter Book Night (children)
Thursday, Feb. 1 at 6 p.m.
Grab your wand, and party like a wizard during a night of magic, potions, crafts and Harry Potter trivia.

Hogwarts After Dark (ages 10 and older)
Friday, Feb. 2 from 6-8:30 p.m.
Celebrate Harry Potter Book Night during an after-hours party filled with snacks and potions, magical crafts and games, a costume contest and a screening of the final Harry Potter movie.
