About Our Storytime Kits

Charleston County Public Library has 102 thematic storytime kits available to check out. Each kit contains books and age-appropriate puppets, toys, puzzles, games and rhymes that highlight the featured theme, along with information on how to download songs and music through the library. A maximum of one kit may be checked out by any CCPL cardholder for up to 14 days. Kits may be placed on hold and picked up at the CCPL branch of your choice.

Before kids can read and write, they must first learn the skills that will prepare them to do so. Check out a kit, and help your child start down a path to school readiness and success.
