    • Abstract:
Minneapolis has been in the headlines: George Floyd. I can't breathe. Racism is the real pandemic. Adult education students are often at the intersections of inadequate public health, police violence, poverty, and enduring racism. Two adult educators in Minnesota reflect on recent events in their city and the many ways adult students and programs have been affected. In this piece, we outline how these months have looked from the lens of adult education. We then describe how activists of color have led a powerful community response. Movement is happening, bringing new breath to the work of justice in our field. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
