- Abstract: The author explores how the second person point of view creates various effects and meanings or ambiguity in English language fiction and poetry. He mentions the production of Bertold Brecht's "A Man's a Man" which shows one kind of ambiguity regarding the second person. He discusses two distinct possibilities in need of resolution in "A Man's a Man." He also cites Kevin Young's poem "Errata," which might clarify the conceptual parameters of ambiguity.
