On page 36 of today's issue, Stephen Armstrong laments the lack of new ideas in Hollywood. From prequels to remakes to sequels, it feels like the formula has become rather staid. I couldn't agree more. However, a more welcome emerging trend is the rise of female producers and directors - including our cover star Margot Robbie. They're bringing an alternative outlook and fresh inspiration, with a particular focus on subjects and themes that resonate with women. Reese Witherspoon and Emerald Fennell are others leading the way in this space. It's brilliant to see and long may it continue. Oh and, of course, come on Cillian! Enjoy the issue.
