      The article highlights the medical role of Cuba in international health scene specially in Africa. Cuba provided 38,000 health workers in 74 countries and gave care to 70 million patients since early 2009, saving more than 2 million lives. The author presents stages of Cuba's medical activities in Africa which include military-driven cooperation in Ethiopia and Angola, capacity building, and comprehensive cooperation. U.S. President Barack Obama recognized Cuba's world threat of good example on medical contribution.
