    • Abstract:
The article reports on the expanded conservation funding for the 2012 farm bill in California. According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG), traditional farm programs have not played well for California. It mentions that fruits, vegetables, and nuts account for 36 billion dollars of value to the state's agricultural economy. In addition, most of California's regulations met the federal Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act.
