- Abstract:
The article offers information on a study conducted by the authors related to self-management in diabetics living in Great Britain. It states that self-management consisted of both cognitive and practical tasks along with socio-emotional ones. It mentions that self management was affeced by socio-economic condition withing family and workplace. It highlights that capacity to self-manage was limited to cognitive ability, psychological factors and co-morbidity.
