      In Slovak literature, the author's genres, which are usually returned to literary life, are memoir fiction, historical prose and literary essay. The history of the national literature is devoted to this hybrid genre by observing and evaluating their social and cultural context, which has led them to initiate their literary life at a particular time. The author's literary essay, which coincides with the author's artistic work, is also emphasized, while the genre is also linked to the author's professional background; it is initiated by the type of personality and the function attributed to it by the author's literary essay.
