    • Abstract:
The article discusses the results of the "Reading the Future 2010" (RTF) survey on consumer behavior when buying books in Great Britain. The survey found that while the internet is the number one place to browse for books, independent bookstores are becoming more popular and that recommendations from friends and family is the most popular way to learn about books. Discounts, the impact of the recession, and the prices of hardback books are also discussed.
